National HIV Testing Day Playbook for Employers

National HIV Testing Day: Playbook for Employers

June 27 is National HIV Testing Day. This step-by-step guide can help you connect employees to life-saving testing, prevention, and treatment.

More than 1.2 million Americans are living with HIV, and 91% are of working age. Yet 80% of new HIV cases are linked to people who don't know they have HIV or aren't receiving care.

Employers can help end the epidemic by making sure their workers have access to testing, prevention, and treatment options.

This playbook was designed to help your company make the most of National HIV Testing Day, which is observed on June 27 each year. The guide includes six steps to help you prepare, as well as an employer toolkit featuring a printable flyer, an HIV fact sheet, and an internal communications template. The playbook also spotlights ways that other companies have taken action.

This playbook is part of a suite of employer resources and events developed by U.S. Business Action to End HIV. We'd love to hear how you're using these free tools! Drop us a line at hello@healthaction.org to let us know how they're working for you and your team.
