World AIDS Day Toolkit for Employers

World AIDS Day Toolkit for Employers

World AIDS Day, commemorated each year on Dec. 1, is an opportunity to honor those who have died from AIDS-related conditions, support the 39 million people living with HIV today, and take action to help end the HIV epidemic.

Ending HIV requires leadership across many sectors of society, including business. Employers can play an important role by expanding access to HIV prevention and treatment, adopting inclusive workplace policies, and educating employees about HIV.

This free, easy-to-use employer guide is designed to help business leaders take action. The toolkit includes:

  • Six impactful actions employers can take to mark World AIDS Day.
  • Spotlights showcasing how leading employers are taking action on HIV.
  • Links to trusted HIV testing and education resources.
  • Sample social media posts and a free Zoom background to amplify your company’s commitment.
  • Ideas to help you sustain progress year-round.

Whether you're planning your first World AIDS Day initiative or building on existing efforts, this toolkit can help you take action in your workplace.
